BEFORE/AFTER - Some Recent Projects

The main ask in this kitchen was to remedy the severe lack of storage space for clients who enjoyed cooking. To achieve this, we constructed a new pantry that is twice the size, as well as a brand new island that has built-in cabinets on all sides. We also extended every cabinet to be floor to ceiling to provide space for decoration on the top and plenty of room to store all their culinary needs.

This lovely home has been standing for 50 years, and the kitchen highlighted that. We overhauled the whole space, upgrading every aspect to ensure it will stand up for another 50 years. We made sure to remove the outdated soffit above the old cabinetry to allow for larger upper cabinets with crown molding, new floors, backsplash, countertops, sink, appliances, the whole nine yards…

For this project the main ask was to create an open floor plan in this common space, creating a gathering place in the center of the home. To achieve this we cut down the drab arch walls separating the living room from the kitchen, creating a central space in the form of a beautiful island. Long enough to host up to 6 guests, illuminated by a shining fixture and blue LEDs around the entire.

This projects inspiration was having as large of an island as possible. These customers did not utiltize a dining table, and preferred the countertop for dining. We moved to fridge to be closer to the food prep area, added a coffee bar space next to the brand new pantry. The white LEDs under the white cabinets support the stronger accenting of the gold handles and fixers, along with the cow print chairs.
